Emeralds are captivating gemstones that have the most fine-looking, intense and most glowing green. Very fine emeralds are sometimes more valuable than diamonds.

Emerald stone signifies planet Mercury in the natal birth chart/horoscope. It should be worn minimum of 3-9 carat embedded in Gold/Silver Ring/Pendant in the little finger of the right hand in elected auspicious time only.

Emerald is worn for the gaining benefits in concentration, memory, learning & analytical capabilities, further studies, children, new initiatives, resources, gains, marital matters etc. It also provides relief from neurological disorders, intestinal, skin or respiratory problems, constipation, retarded mental & physical growth, Parkinson disease etc. The magnificent green of the emerald is a color conveys harmony, love of Nature and elemental enthusiasm. And since this color changes between the bright light of day and the artificial light of a lamp, emerald gem retains its lively vigor in all its gradations.

The lively luminosity of its color makes the emerald a unique gemstone with its good quality that is fairly rare. Its inclusions often damage the evenness of the color. Fine inclusions do not by any means diminish the appreciation of this gem stone. Even with inclusions, an emerald in a deep, lively green still has a much higher value than an almost flawless emerald whose color is paler. 
Whilst it’s good hardness protects the emerald to a large extent from scratches, its brittleness makes its cutting, setting and cleaning pretty difficult. This is because of the high value of the raw crystals, and secondly because of the frequent inclusions. Emeralds are also cut in many classical shapes, but if the raw material contains a large number of inclusions, it may often be cut into a gently rounded cabochon, or into one of the popular emerald beads. 
For the longevity of this gem stone, emerald rings should always be taken off before the wearer puts his or her hands in water containing cleansing agent.
